Welcome to HAUS Fashions at Urban Outfitters,
This blog is my research blog for my Final Major Project at the Fashion Retail Academy (FRA).
This is where I will post my research, ideas and concepts and how I am progressing with my project as well my random bursts of inspiration!
My concept is to make street fashion people into "icons" through the use of online social media and technology the most popular of the bloggers would have the chance to create there own looks for HAUS at Urban Outfitters, these icons will then be filmed and styled in the style of Andy Warhol's superstars. The main focus will be on online selling with a small space in the Urban Outfitters flagship in London made to resemble 'the sliver factory' which was Andy Warhol's studio on the lower east side of Manhattan in the 1960's. The main focus of this project will be on the product itself and how it is styled, this will allow me not to focus to much on the whole marketing and look campaign of the brand and allow to focus on the details. I have come to conclusion that I will start the project by creating people as a sort of template as to how the concept would look like completed.
